Peter Stone Brown is a singer-songwriter and freelance writer. His debut album ‘Up Against It’ debuted on the Americana Chart and was featured on roots music stations across Europe and North America. He has appeared on bills with artists such as Lucinda Williams, Steve Forbet, Roger Mcguinn, NRBQ, Jimmy Dale Gilmore and Alejandro Escovedo. As music editor of an alternative weekly and also as a DJ he has interviewed Bob Marley, Ry Cooder, Muddy Waters, Arlo Guthrie, George Jones, James Brown, Rick Danko, Carl Perkins and many of those interviews can be found here.

Peter has lectured on Bob Dylan at the 92nd Street Y and is a frequent blogger on popular and roots music. He writes for online publications including: Counter Punch, American Songwriter, Gaslight Records and Recently he was featured extensively in David Kinney’s The Dylanologists: Adventures In The Land Of Bob.
